Lock&Lock Launches Kimchi Container That Reduces Color and Odor Transfer by 40%

Lock&Lock announced on September 12 that it has launched a new kimchi container featuring the 'Mediguard' material, which reduces color and odor transfer by 40%.

Mediguard is a material that minimizes contact with water droplets, allowing for more hygienic use. All three new kimchi containers utilize the Mediguard material, which reduces staining and odor transfer by more than 40% compared to conventional plastic. Additionally, Lock&Lock's four-sided locking airtight technology and silicone gasket provide powerful sealing optimized for kimchi storage.

The new lineup consists of three types: the standard 'Lock&Lock Kimchi Container,' the 'Breathable Kimchi Container,' and the 'Fermentation and Aging Kimchi Container.' All three products offer excellent durability and come in a variety of capacities ranging from 2.6 liters to 16 liters, giving consumers a wide range of options.

The Lock&Lock Kimchi Container is available in nine different sizes, allowing for the storage of up to seven heads of cabbage. The Breathable Kimchi Container features a vent valve on the lid to efficiently release gases generated during fermentation while blocking outside air, helping to maintain the crisp taste of kimchi. The Fermentation and Aging Kimchi Container is equipped with an internal pressing plate that keeps the kimchi fully submerged in brine, ensuring even fresher storage.
