At the event, the Authority actively promoted the investment environment and logistics tri-port competitiveness of the Busanjinhae Free Economic Zone. During one-on-one business sessions, it introduced industry-specific projects underway in the Nammun, Mieum, and Jisa Foreign Investment Zones; Seogeon and Ungdong hinterland complexes; and the Bobae Complex District to global investors. The Authority also presented tailored investment incentives and explored concrete investment possibilities.
After the event, the Authority held meetings with the Hong Kong Trade Development Council, Elsa Yuen, President of the Hong Kong Logistics Association, and other executives to gain insights into overseas investment trends in Hong Kong, identify potential investors, and discuss concrete collaboration plans such as promoting BJFEZ projects. In addition, the Authority visited K Company, a leading global third-party logistics (3PL) firm, to negotiate investment attraction for the port hinterland complex and worked to expand partnerships with local logistics companies.
Building on this Hong Kong IR activity, the Authority plans to further strengthen its global network and accelerate efforts to attract high value-added manufacturing and logistics companies. Moving forward, it will continue to conduct tailored investment consultations, global promotional activities, and consultations with related organizations, actively seeking to identify promising companies and expand investment attraction.
Commissioner Park Sungho emphasized, "This summit has further elevated the global status of the Busanjinhae Free Economic Zone," adding, "We will make every effort to seize opportunities in the rapidly changing global industrial environment and to strengthen the region’s future growth engines."
