This program was designed to provide practical safety education to effectively respond to various disaster situations, such as earthquakes and fires. It will be conducted over six sessions for approximately 300 citizens from Gyeongju, Pohang, and Ulsan.

Participants directly experienced safety training that is helpful in real-life situations through a variety of activities and instruction from professional trainers. These included a tour of the Wolseong Headquarters Industrial Safety Experience Center, understanding different types of disasters in daily life, practicing evacuation using a descent device in high places, cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR) training, and learning response and evacuation procedures in the event of a fire or earthquake.

Hong Geumjin, president of the branch, shared her thoughts, saying, "It was a great opportunity to experience disaster situations that are difficult to encounter in everyday life. Thanks to this experience, I feel more confident that I can remain calm in a real crisis. I would like to thank the Wolseong Headquarters for providing such a meaningful opportunity for citizens."

Jung Wonho, head of the headquarters, emphasized, "Preparation is safety when it comes to disasters," and added, "The response skills that citizens learn through hands-on experience will become the power to protect precious lives in real crises." He continued, "We will continue to make the most of the Industrial Safety Experience Center to foster a culture of safety in partnership with the local community."
