On September 9, members of the Legislation and Judiciary Committee from the People Power Party are holding a press conference at the National Assembly to express their opposition to the judicial reform being pursued by the government and the Democratic Party of Korea. The reform centers on separating the Prosecution Service and the Serious Crimes Investigation Agency, as well as increasing the number of Supreme Court justices, following the amendment of the Government Organization Act.
