KakaoBank will conduct a scheduled maintenance of its computer system in the early morning hours on September 14, from 1:00 AM to 8:00 AM, to enhance the stability and reliability of its financial services.
This inspection is part of an annual planned review, aimed at optimizing the overall infrastructure by checking system configurations and upgrading or replacing IT equipment. It is a preventive measure to ensure stable service quality even under various conditions, including high-traffic situations.
During the maintenance period, all services will be temporarily limited, including access to the KakaoBank App, the KakaoBank website, check/mini cards, automated devices (CD/ATM), deposit/withdrawal and card payment notifications, KakaoBank transactions through other financial institutions, and customer center consultations and work.
The service interruption is scheduled to last a total of seven hours, from 1:00 AM to 8:00 AM, but the actual end time may vary depending on the progress of the work.
KakaoBank stated, "We conduct regular system inspections so that more than 25 million customers can use our financial services with peace of mind," adding, "We will continue to do our utmost to strengthen service stability and reliability across all aspects of our operations."
As of the first half of this year, KakaoBank had 25.86 million customers and 19.9 million monthly active users (MAU), striving to provide stable and seamless financial services.
