Siheung City in Gyeonggi Province is accepting applications for teams wishing to participate in the 4th Siheung National Youth e-Sports Tournament until September 16.
This annual event, hosted by the Siheung Youth Foundation and organized by the Eunhaeng Youth Culture Center and the Baegot 2 Youth Culture Center, aims to promote a healthy gaming culture among young people and raise awareness of e-sports.
The tournament will be held as a five-person team competition, featuring two games: League of Legends and Valorant. The final winning team will be determined through a tournament bracket. Thirty-two teams will be recruited for each game. Eligibility requirements are as follows: for League of Legends, participants must have been born between 2001 and 2013; for Valorant, between 2001 and 2010.
The event will also include a variety of side activities, such as creating fair play slogans, operating a game literacy zone at the venue, and one-on-one match events.
Interested participants can apply via the QR code on the promotional materials or through the VSS.GG website. An orientation for participating teams will be held on September 18, followed by the preliminary rounds on September 20. The finals will take place on October 18, in conjunction with the 10th Siheung Youth Club Festival.
