On September 9, Seoul Mayor Oh Sehoon visited Baeksa Village in Nowon-gu, Seoul to inspect the demolition process. Known as the last shantytown in Seoul, Baeksa Village is scheduled to complete demolition in December, with the goal of residents moving in by 2029.
