Dunamu announced on September 4 that the virtual asset exchange Upbit will participate as an official sponsor of the 2025 League of Legends Champions Korea (LCK).
LCK is one of the world’s premier esports leagues and serves as the Korean professional league for the popular game League of Legends (LoL). Each season, millions of fans pay close attention to the league, drawn by the performances of star players and the high level of competition.
Through this sponsorship, Upbit plans to expand its brand touchpoints and further strengthen its connection with fans. In addition, Upbit will offer special experiences and benefits to both LCK fans and Upbit users through a variety of promotions and events. Until the end of the year, as an official sponsor, Upbit will continue a range of activities, including advertising in stadiums and on broadcast screens, as well as operating fan festa booths at the finals qualifier and the finals venue.
To commemorate the sponsorship, Upbit will sequentially release special benefit events exclusively for Upbit members. For example, these programs will include tickets for the finals qualifier and the finals, backstage tours during the finals, and other opportunities for fans to enjoy the LCK in person. On the day of the finals, a viewing party will also be organized, providing a place for fans to gather and watch the matches together. In addition, rewards for fans will be offered, such as in-game items usable within the game and limited-edition merchandise produced by Upbit, allowing fans to enjoy both the game and the matches.
Upbit also plans to invite young people aspiring to become the next generation of esports players, providing them with opportunities to tour backstage at the LCK finals and watch the event live on site.
An Upbit representative said, "We are delighted to become an official sponsor of LCK, which is recognized as the world’s top esports league. Through this sponsorship, we aim to communicate more closely with fans and provide enjoyment and benefits. Furthermore, we hope this will serve as a stepping stone for the young talents who will lead the future of esports."
