Centum General Hospital in Busan (Chairman Park Jongho, President Park Namcheol) has been officially designated as a partner hospital for the 2025 APEC (Asia-Pacific Economic Cooperation) Summit.
Centum General Hospital announced on the 4th that it had been selected as a partner hospital to ensure the safe and successful hosting of the summit and received the "Partner Hospital Certificate" from the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
For the APEC Summit, 29 partner hospitals were selected based on factors such as distance, facilities, and medical standards from among general hospitals with more than 300 beds, advanced general hospitals, and regional emergency medical centers in Gyeongju, the host city, and surrounding areas.
In Busan, five hospitals, including Centum General Hospital, have been additionally designated as partner hospitals to strengthen medical measures in line with the accommodation arrangements for summit leaders and delegations.
With this designation, Centum General Hospital will provide timely emergency care and serve as a medical safety net during the summit period (October 30 to November 1).
Park Jongho, Chairman of Centum General Hospital, emphasized, "Being designated as a partner hospital for the APEC Summit is external recognition of our hospital's medical standards and emergency response capabilities. We will thoroughly prepare for the successful hosting of the event and do our utmost to fulfill our role as a partner hospital, including providing emergency medical care."
