Muju Mountain Valley Cinema will screen independent and artistic films such as 'Moomins in Winter Wonderland,' 'The Legend of the Water Flower,' and 'The Bacchus Lady,' as well as family-friendly animations like 'The Girl Who Leapt Through Time,' 'Super Kid Hailey,' and 'Wolf Children.'

Three films, including 'Midnight Diner 2,' will be presented as barrier-free movies with added subtitle commentary for the hearing impaired.

A special hands-on program for children attending daycare centers in Muju County is also drawing attention, as it is expected to foster imagination and creativity through film.

Lim Jeonghee, head of the Cultural Policy Team at the County's Taekwondo Culture Department, stated, "This special screening is a nationwide project supported by the Korean Film Council, offering a rare opportunity to enjoy a variety of genres, including independent and classic films that are not easily accessible. Since all screenings are free during the Muju Firefly Festival, I hope everyone will enjoy them without any burden."

All screenings are free and available on a first-come, first-served basis without prior reservation. Detailed information about the screening schedule and programs can be found on the official website of Muju Mountain Valley Cinema.

Meanwhile, Muju Mountain Valley Cinema plans to further enhance the quality of cultural experiences by strengthening regular independent and artistic film screening programs such as 'Muju Cinema Club' and the 'Muju Cinema Day' (1,000 KRW admission), a local coexistence support program in collaboration with the Muju Pumped Storage Power Plant.
