Polaris Office is accelerating its entry into the public and enterprise markets by expanding its document-based AI collaboration ecosystem through a partnership with Flow, a leading domestic collaboration platform.
On September 2, at an event hosted by Flow in Busan, Polaris Office delivered a presentation under the theme "Documents, Co-Editing, and AI as One: Innovation Completing the Entire Work Process." Lee Haeseok, Head of Business Division and Chief AI Officer (CAIO) at Polaris Office, introduced a new model for work innovation that combines document co-editing, collaboration platforms, and AI features.
Flow, developed by Madras Check, is an integrated collaboration tool that encompasses messenger, project management, and file sharing. With its registration with the Public Procurement Service, Flow has opened up possibilities for entering the public sector market. In response, Polaris Office integrated its proprietary co-editing solution, Polaris Docs, with Flow, creating a real-time document collaboration environment. This solution is already being used by organizations such as Korea Gas Corporation, Samsung Fire & Marine Insurance, and Korea Securities Depository, serving as a bridgehead for expanding its references in both public and private sectors.
This collaboration goes beyond simply providing features, establishing a virtuous cycle in which the commercial product "Polaris Office AI" is spreading within internal systems of organizations. Advanced document-based AI features such as automatic meeting minutes generation, report draft creation, and multilingual translation are simultaneously enhancing the work efficiency and productivity of client companies. This, in turn, is driving Polaris Office's acquisition of new corporate clients and strengthening its competitiveness in the AI office market.
Lee Haeseok, CAIO, emphasized, "The partnership with Flow is an innovative model where collaboration services, co-editing, and AI are organically connected. Through synergies with HandySoft, which we plan to acquire, and collaborations with various platforms, we will expand our influence in the B2G and B2B markets, further increasing growth and profitability across both corporate and public sectors."
Meanwhile, Polaris Office Group recently secured integrated solution capabilities spanning from document software to AI infrastructure by acquiring HandySoft, a leading groupware provider for public institutions. Building on this, the company is solidifying its position as a "vertical AI office company" that simultaneously drives digital transformation (DX) and AI transformation (AX) for government agencies and enterprises.
