On September 3, Chu wrote on her social networking service (SNS) account, "All I saw was an utterly disgraceful display." She continued, "It was nothing but a pitiful and petty attempt to evade the arrest warrant, using all sorts of tricks and intimidation against much younger correctional officers."

Chu also reported that Yoon told the correctional officers, "I was a prosecutor for 27 years," "Don't touch me," and "If you go through with this, what will happen to your promising futures?" She added that even when the officers asked, "Weren't you once the president? Please put on your clothes," Yoon adamantly refused and resisted.

Regarding Yoon's statement to the special prosecutor, "Stop oppressing the military and soldiers, and hold me, the former commander-in-chief, solely responsible," Chu urged, "Don't just make grandiose statements-show a genuine willingness to take responsibility."

She further asserted, "On the night of the rebellion, he issued illegal orders and repeatedly pressed the commanders to comply, ruining the lives of military officers. By refusing to stand trial, obstructing the investigation, and evading responsibility, he is making utterly nonsensical claims."

Chu also criticized both former President Yoon and his wife Kim Keon Hee, stating, "This couple of insurrectionists both suffer from severe pathological lying."

Interest Grows Over Possible Release of 'Underwear Protest' Video

On September 1, members of the National Assembly's Legislation and Judiciary Committee from the Democratic Party and the Rebuilding Korea Party visited the Seoul Detention Center, where former President Yoon is being held, and viewed the unreleased video footage of the arrest warrant execution. It is reported that Yoon strongly resisted both the first and second attempts to execute the warrant while dressed only in his underwear.

Jeon Hyun Hee, another Democratic Party member of the Legislation and Judiciary Committee, also shared her thoughts in a radio interview, saying the footage was "too distressing to watch." Regarding the possibility of releasing the video, she stated, "There has not yet been sufficient discussion at the leadership level," but added, "There will likely be discussions within this week."
