On September 3, Samjong KPMG announced the launch of the "IPO Support Center," which will systematically support the growth of small unlisted companies from their early stages to becoming small and medium-sized enterprises and pre-IPO companies, and help them successfully settle in the KOSDAQ and KOSPI markets after listing.

Samjong KPMG explained, "In a changing IPO regulatory environment, we have launched the 'IPO Support Center' to help unlisted companies seeking to enter the market achieve healthy growth, complete their IPOs, and establish themselves as listed companies that can attract long-term value investment."

In January, the government and financial authorities announced an 'IPO System Reform,' which included measures such as preferential allocation for institutional investors with mandatory holding commitments, strengthened mandatory holding requirements for underwriters, and restrictions on demand forecasting participation by small private equity managers and discretionary investment firms. Since the implementation of these measures in July, the IPO market has contracted. As a result, it has become more difficult for companies to pursue aggressive IPO pricing or for underperforming companies to go public, and IPO reviews are expected to become even more conservative in the future.

The center is led by Executive Director Kang Inhye, head of the Information and Communication Business Division 3 at Samjong KPMG's audit division. It is composed of experts from major industries such as information and communication technology (ICT), platforms, software, consumer goods, distribution, and manufacturing. In addition, valuation, mergers and acquisitions (M&A), and tax experts participate as an advisory group to provide tailored support for companies.

Kang Inhye, head of the Samjong KPMG IPO Support Center, stated, "We will provide insights on key preparations such as internal management procedures required at each stage of corporate growth, securing the reliability of financial statements, managing financial risks, and responding to regulatory and supervisory environments." She added, "Based on our accumulated expertise and experience, we will actively support companies through online content and offline seminars."
