The "Siheung Art Center," scheduled to open next year in Baegot New Town, is a multi-purpose cultural complex with one basement level and four above-ground floors, covering a total floor area of 14,298 square meters. It will feature a main theater with 710 seats, a smaller theater with 301 seats, as well as various facilities such as planning and permanent exhibition halls, lecture rooms, and a cafe.

On September 20, Baegot Life Park will host an opening ceremony with local residents. The event will include a collaborative performance involving residents from 20 neighborhoods and will feature a concert by soprano Sumi Jo.

On September 21, the festivities will continue with a congratulatory performance by the Siheung Arts Council, a pre-festival performance of the K-Voice Ensemble International Festival, and an invited gala concert by the National Opera Company.

The city will provide 1,000 general admission seats and additional "sharing seats" for vulnerable groups for these performances. All seats are free of charge. Except for the Siheung Arts Council performance, all shows require advance reservations. Reservations can be made for up to two tickets per person starting at 2 p.m. on September 8 through the Siheung Art Center website.

During the event, a large-scale art market will be held in collaboration with resident groups from Baegot 1 and 2 districts. The market, which aims to revitalize the local economy through partnerships between businesses and the arts, will feature 255 booths for hands-on experiences, sales, and food, with participation from businesses throughout Siheung.

The city will also host the "Traveling Siheung Art Center," a program designed to bring diverse arts into residents' daily lives. This initiative will feature collaborations between the city choir, the traditional arts troupe, and popular music groups such as Chugaeun and UN Angel Voice. The "Traveling Siheung Art Center" will begin in Jeongwang-dong on September 6 and will tour nine locations, concluding in Daeya-dong on November 8.

Kim Taewoo, Director of Culture, Sports and Tourism for Siheung City, stated, "The Siheung Art Center is a cultural platform where citizens and the arts communicate, and where the region and the arts coexist. This Preview Festa will enhance the value of the Siheung Art Center and serve as a cultural turning point, marking a new beginning for Siheung as a city of the arts."
