GC Green Cross Medical Foundation announced on September 2 that it had signed a business agreement with the Ewha Mokdong Hospital Convergence Medical Research Institute on August 29. The agreement focuses on establishing a cooperative framework in the fields of healthcare and medical devices.

Under this agreement, GC Green Cross Medical Foundation and the Ewha Mokdong Hospital Convergence Medical Research Institute will collaborate to establish a cooperative system for the development and joint commercialization of the healthcare and medical device industries, as well as to identify new projects. They also agreed to work together to discover prospective entrepreneurs and foster startup companies through organic collaboration between the hospital and the foundation, and to promote information exchange by jointly hosting seminars, academic conferences, and workshops.


Kim Geonha, Director of the Ewha Mokdong Hospital Convergence Medical Research Institute, said, "Ewha Mokdong Hospital was selected by the Ministry of Health and Welfare in March this year as a 'first-phase certified research-oriented hospital' for 2025, and was recognized for its strengths in conducting clinical research. Building on this agreement, we will combine the infrastructure of GC Green Cross Medical Foundation with the medical technology of the Ewha Mokdong Hospital Convergence Medical Research Institute to play a leading role in the rapidly changing healthcare market."
