Busan-Jinhae Free Economic Zone Authority Strengthens Business-Friendly Innovative Administration Through Proactive Administration Training

On September 1, the Busan-Jinhae Free Economic Zone Authority (Commissioner Park Sungho) conducted "Proactive Administration Training" for its staff in the second-floor main conference room.

This training was organized to redefine the importance of proactive administration as a leader in the public sector and to foster a culture of innovative and active administration.

The special lecture was delivered by Choi Deoklim, who served as the general director of the 2023 Suncheonman International Garden Expo.

Choi shared a wealth of innovative case studies, including the Suncheonman Wetland Restoration Project, which he promoted during his tenure as a public official. He discussed the achievements and practical methods of proactive administration, and, drawing on his extensive field experience, presented specific and creative solutions to various real-world issues, receiving an enthusiastic response from the attendees.

Commissioner Park Sungho, who attended the training, emphasized, "Proactive administration is no longer a choice but an essential duty for public officials." He added, "In particular, executives and staff members must take the lead in spreading a proactive administrative culture throughout the organization." He continued, "Through a proactive and innovative administrative culture, we will lead the development of the Busan-Jinhae Free Economic Zone."

The Busan-Jinhae Free Economic Zone Authority has been actively identifying and implementing various cases of proactive administration to address the challenges faced by resident companies and to promote investment attraction, such as easing height restrictions in port hinterland complexes and reducing rent for logistics companies. Going forward, the Authority plans to create a business-friendly environment and provide maximum support for corporate growth through field-oriented administration and regulatory innovation.
