All three major indices of the U.S. stock market closed higher on August 28 (local time).
On this day, at the New York Stock Exchange (NYSE), the Dow Jones Industrial Average finished trading up 0.16% from the previous session. The S&P 500 Index, which is centered on large-cap stocks, rose by 0.32%, while the tech-heavy Nasdaq Index closed up 0.53%.
