원본보기 아이콘Corelle Brands, a global kitchenware company, announced that Pyrex, the world’s first heat-resistant glassware brand, has won the “Glass Kitchenware of the Year” award at the “2025 Brand of the Year Awards.”
The “Brand of the Year Awards” is the largest brand awards event in Korea, hosted by the Korea Consumer Brand Committee and organized by the Korea Consumer Forum. Every year, consumers directly participate in voting to select the top brands that have shined throughout the year.
Pyrex, founded in the United States in 1915 as the world’s first brand specializing in heat-resistant glassware, has been beloved by consumers worldwide for 110 years. The brand has continuously led kitchen culture by introducing classic items as well as collaborative products that reflect the trends of the times.
This year, in particular, collaborative marketing campaigns celebrating the brand’s 110th anniversary have attracted significant attention. The retro-style set of measuring cups, mixing bowls, and airtight containers-created in collaboration with the domestic lifestyle brand Kitty Bunny Pony-received acclaim for its stylish reinterpretation of Pyrex’s heritage. Released in limited quantities through discount stores and online channels, the collection garnered enthusiastic interest from consumers.
This recognition for Pyrex is considered even more meaningful in light of the recent acquisition of Corelle Brands Asia by Ojin Corporation. Established in 1988, Ojin Corporation has long distributed global kitchen brands, including Corelle, in Korea, solidifying its position in the premium kitchenware market.
Through this acquisition, Ojin Corporation has secured comprehensive operational rights, expanding beyond distribution to include brand planning, marketing, and localization strategies. Based on this, the company plans to strengthen its competitiveness in the domestic market and implement long-term brand strategies.
