This technology detects subtle changes in skin color caused by heartbeats using facial recognition through the smartphone's built-in camera, without the need for additional equipment. It measures biometric signals such as pulse, blood pressure, fever, and oxygen saturation. Workers can check their health status in about 15 seconds, and the results are automatically recorded. This increases efficiency in managing sensitive groups, such as the elderly and those with underlying health conditions.
Since taking office, Vice Chairman Park Hyuncheol has personally visited construction sites nationwide every month to conduct safety inspections. By making unannounced visits without specifying the site in advance, he is further strengthening on-site inspections. During regular inspections, he listens to site employees' concerns in addition to conducting safety checks. During unannounced inspections, safety checks are carried out under normal site conditions, and any improvements identified are addressed immediately with additional budget allocations.

The company is installing air conditioning to help workers cool down, providing beverages and ice cream, and transforming these areas into comfortable spaces for everyone to rest. These efforts are part of a broader commitment to enhancing workers' welfare in a meaningful way.
Starting this month, Lotte Construction has implemented a policy to completely halt outdoor work when temperatures reach 35 degrees Celsius or higher, which is stricter than the legal standard of 38 degrees, in order to protect workers from heat waves. The company also guarantees rest periods in accordance with the Ministry of Employment and Labor's "Five Basic Safety Rules for Heat Waves."
A Lotte Construction representative stated, "We are prioritizing safety by strengthening on-site inspections and our safety management system, and we are taking various measures to provide real support for our workers. We will continue to offer a wide range of support so that workers can work in a safe environment, treating them as if they were family."
