According to Sports Business Journal on the 27th (local time), the new TV company Versant will host an invitational golf event in December, with both players serving as captains, each leading a team of three. The event will be a team competition format. While the full roster of eight participants-including Scheffler and McIlroy-has yet to be finalized, it is expected that top-tier players will join the tournament.

The event is likely to take place during the second week of December. However, Bryson DeChambeau and Brooks Koepka, both from the United States and stars of LIV Golf, are not expected to participate this year. This invitational event will be part of a series of pay-per-view matches that have previously featured head-to-head showdowns, such as those between Tiger Woods and Phil Mickelson, both from the United States.
