Kwon Seongdong, a member of the People Power Party who is under suspicion of violating the Political Funds Act, made a statement as he appeared at the special prosecutor's office for Kim Keonhee, located in the KT Gwanghwamun Building in Jongno-gu, Seoul, on August 27. This is the first time that a sitting National Assembly member has been investigated by a special prosecutor regarding allegations related to the Unification Church.
