Baemin and Korea Foodservice Industry Association Join Forces for Foodservice Industry Development

Joint Operation of Competency-Building Education Programs
"Expanding Practical Support for Business Owners"

Baemin and the Korea Foodservice Industry Association, the largest organization of small business owners in the domestic foodservice sector, have joined forces to strengthen the competitiveness of the foodservice industry and support the growth of business owners.


On August 27, Woowa Brothers announced that it had signed a "Mutual Cooperation Agreement for the Development of the Foodservice Industry" with the Korea Foodservice Industry Association at the association's headquarters in Jung-gu, Seoul.


Under this agreement, Baemin and the Korea Foodservice Industry Association will jointly plan and operate competency-building education programs, conduct joint research and surveys on the foodservice industry, and co-host offline events for the sector.

First, the two companies will collaborate on practical, customized training programs for foodservice business owners, focusing on sales growth and operational efficiency through artificial intelligence (AI), as well as hands-on training to enhance the capabilities of the association's regional chapters and branches.


They will also publish a "Joint Trend Report" that combines their unique expertise to provide direction for the rapidly changing foodservice business and policy landscape, and establish a cooperative system for the production of the "Korea Foodservice Industry Statistical Yearbook." In addition, they plan to jointly plan and operate the main programs of "Baemin Partner Festa," the largest domestic event for foodservice business owners, scheduled for December.


Bumseok Kim, CEO of Woowa Brothers, stated, "Through this agreement, we will pool the strengths of both organizations to expand various forms of support that can provide practical assistance to foodservice business owners."


Wooseok Kim, chairman of the Korea Foodservice Industry Association, said, "We look forward to the implementation of various initiatives that will provide practical support to foodservice business owners, including education, management support, digital transformation, and policy integration."
