The National Korea Agro-Fisheries College announced on August 27 that it will begin the application process for the 2026 academic year by accepting applications for the first round of early admissions starting on September 8, with a total of 570 new students to be selected.
The first round of early admissions will be open until September 30, and successful applicants will be announced on November 19. The second round of early admissions will be held from October 13 to 24, with successful applicants to be announced on December 17.
The National Korea Agro-Fisheries College is a three-year national university established in 1997 to cultivate elite agricultural and fisheries professionals in response to globalization, including the launch of the World Trade Organization. Tuition, dormitory fees, and other educational expenses are supported by government funding, and the college has produced approximately 8,000 graduates to date.
President Lee Jumyung of the National Korea Agro-Fisheries College stated, "To recruit outstanding new students for the 2026 academic year, we are continuously strengthening our promotional efforts, including campus visits by faculty and staff to high schools and holding on-site admissions briefings." He added, "We will do our utmost to foster innovative agricultural and fisheries talent to lead the future of the industry, responding to the spread of smart agriculture and fisheries utilizing advanced technologies such as artificial intelligence (AI) and big data."
