On August 26, the KOSPI index opened at 3,199.92, down 9.94 points from the previous trading day. Dealers are seen at work in the main dealing room of Hana Bank's headquarters in Jung-gu, Seoul. On the same day, the won-dollar exchange rate began trading at 1,391 won, up 6.3 won from the previous trading day.
