This tournament, recognized as the largest junior golf event in Korea, saw a total of 1,062 participants compete in the preliminary rounds from August 8 to 11. The finals, featuring 120 boys and 120 girls, were held over two days starting August 23 at Gunsan Country Club in Jeonbuk.

Notably, Pacific Links Korea participated as a co-host for this year's tournament, which was held in conjunction with the AJGA IPS Korea Series. The AJGA is more than just a junior tournament; it is a global stage that attracts promising young golfers from around the world. It has established itself as a gateway to U.S. college admissions and professional careers in golf.

Through its partnership with the AJGA this year, Pacific Links Korea secured 20 entry slots for AJGA tournaments. These entry slots are awarded to the boys' and girls' champions of three tournaments, including the 36th KJGA President-Pacific Links Korea Cup National Middle and High School Golf Tournament. This program is known as the AJGA Pathway Korea IPS Program. In addition, the top-ranked boy and girl based on cumulative points from nine annual tournaments organized by the Korea Junior & Senior High School Golf Association will also receive entry slots.
