On August 25, Atomy announced that Vice Chairman Do donated 300 million won of her personal funds to support the center's establishment during the Atomy Success Academy held on August 22.
This donation was provided as additional funding to ensure the stable operation of the center and was delivered to the Han Life Welfare Foundation, which is responsible for running the center.
In 2019, Atomy launched the "Life-Respecting Mom (Saengso Mom)" initiative by contributing a donor-advised fund worth 10 billion won to the Community Chest of Korea's Fruit of Love campaign.
This fund has been used to support single-parent and unmarried mother households, with more than half of the funds allocated for the construction of the integrated support center.
The center is currently under construction in Ansan, Gyeonggi Province, and is scheduled to open in December. It will serve as a one-stop support facility equipped with counseling, therapy, postpartum health care, a chapel, and a community hall, aiming to reduce the inconvenience of families in crisis having to visit multiple agencies. The center will provide systematic support, from initial counseling to self-reliance.
Hyochon Lee, CEO of the Han Life Welfare Foundation, stated, "I believe that once the center is completed, there will be no more precious lives lost in vain. It will become a place that feels like home for the socially disadvantaged."
Vice Chairman Do said, "I believe that becoming someone's family is the warmest form of sharing. I hope the center becomes a beacon of hope for families in crisis, and that the belief that miracles begin when love is shared will spread far and wide."
She added, "Atomy members also share this belief," promising continued interest and support for single-parent families together with the members.
