This book covers the entire business process utilizing AI, including idea generation, market analysis, decision-making, and the creation of pitch decks (presentation materials that startups use to communicate their business ideas and potential to investors). It provides specific prompts and real-world application cases.

To enable professionals, who have high demand for AI utilization, to immediately adopt AI in their work, the book includes practical usage methods for major AI services such as ChatGPT and Gemini, as well as realistic application strategies such as role-playing for decision-making simulations using AI.

According to a recent survey by the Korea Federation of SMEs (2024.11.4.), despite the urgent need to introduce AI for improving work efficiency and quality, 94.7% of domestic small and medium-sized enterprises do not use AI. Only 16.3% expressed an intention to adopt it. The main reasons for not introducing AI into management were that they did not see a need for it (80.7%) or did not know how it could benefit their business (14.9%).

In a reality where small business owners and SMEs feel distant from adopting and utilizing AI due to information gaps, the burden of digital transformation, and lack of resources, "AI for Business Leaders" is expected to deliver both the message and solutions to "start here and now."

In particular, this book is anticipated to serve as a valuable guide for SME managers considering AI adoption, entrepreneurs pursuing digital transformation, startup founders seeking and validating innovative ideas, and business leaders aiming to establish management strategies in the AI era.

The author, Professor Cheon Dongpil, emphasized, "AI is no longer just a supplementary tool for searching information; it is now a work partner that proposes solutions for various tasks and collaborates with people to realize them. I expect that this book, which contains practical application strategies not affected by technical barriers, will open a new path for growing together with AI."
