Samsung Securities announced on August 20, 2025, that as of the end of July 2025, assets raised through its partnership sales channels have surpassed 10 trillion won for the first time in the industry.
Samsung Securities’ partnership sales channels include outsourced channels such as investment solicitation agents, retirement pension recruiters, investment advisory firms, and discretionary investment firms. The company has steadily expanded the balance of assets from these partnership channels, which stood at 5.9 trillion won at the end of 2022. This figure grew to 7 trillion won by the end of 2023, 7.7 trillion won by the end of 2024, and exceeded 10 trillion won by the end of July 2025. This represents approximately 70% growth in just two and a half years, demonstrating the success of Samsung Securities’ sales channel diversification strategy.
Growth in the investment solicitation agent segment was particularly notable. As of the first half of 2025, assets raised through Samsung Securities’ investment solicitation agent channel totaled 8.7 trillion won, with 1,841 investment solicitation agents affiliated with the channel.
In 2024, Samsung Securities introduced a certification system for investment solicitation agents, implementing a rigorous selection process. Through various employee benefits, such as welfare points, the company is simultaneously securing top talent and building long-term partnerships. Additionally, to support the long-term and flexible work of investment solicitation agents, Samsung Securities plans to renovate its dedicated facilities for these agents in Gangnam and Jamsil.
In addition to investment solicitation agents, Samsung Securities has attracted approximately 1.4 trillion won in assets from around 17,000 clients of officially licensed investment advisory and discretionary investment firms, based on its specialized advisory and discretionary management systems.
By expanding its partnership sales channels, Samsung Securities plans to offer differentiated financial solutions that respond to the evolving market environment through collaboration with various specialized institutions.
Park Kyunghee, Executive Vice President and Head of the WM Division at Samsung Securities, stated, "Partnership sales channels are an important future growth driver for the WM Division," adding, "We will further strengthen our cooperation with investment solicitation agents, investment advisory firms, and discretionary investment firms to provide differentiated asset management services to our clients."
