The Hampyeongcheon pampas grass trail, a hidden gem among tourist attractions in Hampyeong County, South Jeolla Province, is once again captivating visitors with its spectacular scenery this summer.

According to Hampyeong County on August 18, the county has been developing flower trails centered around the Hampyeongcheon area since 2020. Currently, a pampas grass walking path stretching approximately 2.4 kilometers is at its peak.

The landscape, where silvery waves of pampas grass blend with the lush Hampyeongcheon stream, evokes the feeling of strolling through the natural beauty of Europe.

This area has evolved beyond a simple walking path into a multi-purpose healing space that combines a cycling trail, photo zones, and picnic areas, further enhancing visitor satisfaction.

Word of mouth on social media has led to a significant increase in visits from young travelers eager to take photos, and the site is gaining attention for its potential as a year-round tourist destination.

Moon Jeongmo, director of the Agricultural Technology Center, stated, "Hampyeongcheon is a complex space where nature, culture, and tourism come together," adding, "Starting with the pampas grass trail, we will continue to expand tourism resources that can be enjoyed throughout all four seasons."
