Chosun University RISE Project Group University Resource Sharing Center announced on the 18th that it had held the 2nd meeting of the "Gwang Village Campus Resident Consensus Council."

This meeting, held on the 14th in the Learning Class on the 2nd floor of the main building of Chosun University, followed the first council session and was organized to update the university's shared resources with the local community and to introduce new programs designed to encourage resident participation.

The meeting was attended by officials from the Chosun University RISE Project Group, representatives from Gwangju National University of Education and Dong-gu District Office, as well as two resident representatives. The significance of this meeting lies in the direct participation of resident representatives, which allowed for a deeper reflection of residents' voices.

Key topics included updates on the community-sharing infrastructure and the current status of existing programs at each university. Improvements made based on residents' feedback were shared, and upcoming new programs were introduced in detail. These efforts are part of an ongoing initiative to utilize university resources more efficiently and to provide customized programs that meet the needs of local residents.

Seo Hyomin, Deputy Director of the Chosun University University Resource Sharing Center, stated, "Through this second council meeting, we transparently disclosed the status of resource sharing at the university and sought ways to contribute to regional development by communicating directly with resident representatives. Moving forward, we will continue to encourage active participation from residents to create a virtuous cycle in which the university and the local community grow together."
