This event, organized by the Yeongdeok Junior Chamber, replaced the Children's Day celebration that was postponed due to the wildfire that occurred in North Gyeongsang Province at the end of March. It was designed as an occasion for community members to come together and overcome the aftermath of the wildfire.

The festivities began with a dance performance by children from the Osipcheon Daycare Center, followed by the reading of the Children's Charter, commendations for exemplary children, a prize lottery, and the singing of the Children's Day song.

In particular, the main event was held under the theme "ExciteGO, EnjoyGO, TogetherGO," featuring play-centered programs that fostered community unity and collective enjoyment.

At the festival site, water play facilities such as a waterslide, pool, and obstacle air bounce were installed, creating spaces where children could play together. In addition, a "Star King" talent show was held, giving children a chance to showcase their unique skills and talents.

In anticipation of the recent hot weather, Yeongdeok County provided plenty of shaded rest areas throughout the festival grounds and deployed safety personnel in key locations, receiving a strong positive response from participants for running a comfortable and safe festival.

Kwon Byungsoo, President of the Yeongdeok Junior Chamber, said, "It was truly rewarding to see so many children and families enjoying the event we prepared with our members at the end of summer," adding, "We will diligently prepare with the Yeongdeok Junior Chamber so that next year's Children's Grand Festival will be even more abundant."

Governor Kim Kwangyeol stated, "Since the Children's Day event was postponed due to a major wildfire, we put extra care into making this festival an even greater gift for children and their families. We will continue to overcome the damage from the wildfire and prepare for a better future so that the smiles of our children can brighten our community."
