On August 14, at the People Power Party headquarters in Yeouido, Seoul, Song Eonseok, the party's Emergency Committee Chair and Floor Leader, along with party leader candidates Ahn Cheolsoo, Kim Moonsoo, Cho Kyungtae, and Jang Donghyuk, and other participants, held a picketing protest condemning the suppression of the opposition during the 6th National Convention's joint speech session for the Seoul metropolitan area, Gangwon, and Jeju.
