Geumsan Ginseng visited Italy’s beautiful city of art to boost brand awareness and expand its presence in the global market.

From August 1 to 12, Geumsan County participated in the 'K-Art Festival' held in Pietrasanta, Italy, laying the groundwork for increasing the recognition of the Geumsan Ginseng brand and expanding into global markets.

Various programs were held at the central plaza of Pietrasanta, the city hall exhibition hall, Ilbaekheon Gallery, and the old city hall, including food tasting booths featuring Geumsan Ginseng, exhibitions of ginseng products, and the introduction of the Samdongi mascot. These events received a great response from local residents and tourists alike.

Additionally, the delegation promoted the upcoming 43rd Geumsan World Ginseng Festival scheduled for September 18, explained the meaning of the 'K-INSAM' mark, and introduced the health benefits of Geumsan Ginseng.

The delegation, led by Kim Tae-su, Director of Ginseng and Herbal Policy, met with Alberto Stefano Giovannetti, Mayor of Pietrasanta, to express their commitment to fostering exchanges between the two cities and their intention to enter the European market.

They also proposed strengthening partnerships by highlighting the historical and cultural value of ginseng and suggested exchanges in tourism and festivals. In addition, they met with Kim Kyungsoo, Director of Ilbaekheon Gallery, who hosted the festival, and agreed to continue advancing cultural exchanges between Korea and Italy.

Kim Tae-su stated, "Geumsan Ginseng is a representative specialty of Korea, with its cultivation methods registered as a Globally Important Agricultural Heritage System. Here today, in this beautiful Italian city of art, I hope to open a new chapter in cultural exchange between East and West."
