On August 12, Yangju City in Gyeonggi Province held an on-site executive meeting, presided over by the mayor and attended by about 10 senior officials, to select the site for the installation of night sculptures at Okjeong Lake Park.

원본보기 아이콘This meeting was organized to discuss ideas and directly inspect the proposed locations for the night sculptures, with the aim of creating a unique landscape at Okjeong Lake Park, where citizens enjoy leisure and relaxation.
Yangju City has secured a special adjustment grant of 600 million KRW to promote the landscape sculpture project at Okjeong Lake Park and plans to complete the installation of the sculptures by April 2026.
Mayor Kang Suhyun stated, "Unique sculptures exclusive to Okjeong Lake Park will further enhance the park's appeal," and urged, "Please review from multiple perspectives to create a space where citizens can be satisfied and enjoy, by planning night sculptures together with a variety of cultural content."
