Silla University Job Plus Center Holds "Brunch Special Lecture" Youth Employment Policy Briefing

Silla University (President: Heo Namsik) held the "2025 Brunch Special Lecture: Youth Employment Policy Briefing" in collaboration with the Bukbu Busan District Office of Employment and Labor (Director: Min Gwangje).

On August 7, at the main lecture hall of Silla University, the event provided information on key youth employment policies for young people preparing for employment. These included the Job Seeker Leap Guarantee Package, the National Employment Support System, the National Tomorrow Learning Card, and the Youth Job Leap Incentive. Silla University and the Bukbu Busan District Office of Employment and Labor jointly organized the event to offer practical assistance based on an understanding of changes in the employment market.

In addition to information about employment centers and various government youth policies, the youth policy portal site "Ontong Youth," which offers real-time professional counseling services on employment, entrepreneurship, and career planning, was also introduced. This drew significant interest from the more than 60 young participants in the special lecture.

Jang Heejung, Director of the University Job Plus Center at Silla University, stated, "Our focus was not only on providing information, but also on helping young people understand and effectively utilize policies that best fit their individual circumstances." She added, "We will continue to offer practical and ongoing support so that young people can actively participate in suitable youth employment policies and enhance their employability."

The University Job Plus Center at Silla University will continue to operate a variety of employment and career support programs for current students and local youth in cooperation with related organizations.
