Five Local Gifted Students Selected This Year, Totaling 8,401... BNK Dugeundugeun Dream Tree Growth Scholarship Awarded

On August 12, BNK Financial Group (Chairman Bin Daein) held the BNK Dugeundugeun Dream Tree Growth Scholarship Award Ceremony at the Busan Bank headquarters, inviting outstanding gifted students from the local community.

The BNK Dugeundugeun Dream Tree Growth Scholarship is a customized scholarship program designed to identify talented local students early, provide them with systematic educational support, and help them realize their future dreams.

This year, the scholarship was awarded to five students selected through a fair evaluation by a panel of experts, targeting students from first grade in elementary school to second grade in middle school. The scholarships are distributed through the ChildFund Korea.

The selected students are Kim Chaeun (roller skating), Kang Yeseo (golf), Ma Youngjun (table tennis), Ma Youngmin (table tennis), and Kim Taekyung (ssireum). Each student will receive scholarship support until they complete their studies, with academic achievement and other criteria reviewed annually.

Kang Jonghun, Head of Group Management Strategy at BNK Financial Group, who attended the award ceremony, stated, "We support the healthy future of our students who are doing their best in their respective fields, and we hope this scholarship will serve as a valuable foundation for realizing their dreams and hopes. BNK will continue to devote more attention and affection to nurturing future talent in the local community."

Since 2007, BNK Financial Group has been supporting exemplary students in the region with scholarships through the BNK Financial Group Hope Sharing Foundation. To date, a total of 8,401 students have received support from BNK.
