On the opening day of the festival, August 16, the film 'Assassination', which depicts the secret operations of provisional government agents who fought for the nation's independence, will be screened to commemorate the 80th anniversary of Liberation. Before the screening, a commemorative ceremony will be held to honor the sacrifice and dedication of national patriots, with about 30 honorees invited to receive a flower pinned to their chest. There will also be experience booths such as making Taegukgi fans, as well as a special performance by the Siso Vocal Ensemble, composed of members from the Uijeongbu Anti-Japanese Independence Movement Memorial Association.

On the second week, August 23, the film 'Firefighter' will be screened. Before the screening, visitors can participate in fire safety experiences and CPR training booths, utilizing a mobile fire safety experience vehicle.

On the third week, August 31, to allow more residents to enjoy the festival, the film 'CODA' will be screened in a barrier-free version for viewers with disabilities. Barrier-free films include audio descriptions of visual content and subtitles that provide information on speakers, dialogue, music, and sounds, making the movie accessible to everyone.

In addition, animated films such as 'Kung Fu Panda 4' and 'Despicable Me 4', which can be enjoyed by people of all ages and families, the delightful musical film 'Wonka', and the healing film 'Little Forest', which matches the lawn setting, will also be screened.

Every Saturday, performances in various genres including magic, music, and dance will take place from 6 p.m., and on Sundays from 5 p.m. The movies will be screened at 7:30 p.m. after the performances, and anyone can attend free of charge. For a comfortable viewing experience, picnic mats will be available for free rental on a first-come, first-served basis.

Won Jinhee, Administrative Management Officer of Gyeonggi Province, stated, "We hope Gyeonggi Peace Plaza will serve as a cultural space where people can escape the summer heat," and added, "We have prepared a variety of films and special programs for all residents to enjoy, so we ask for your interest and participation."
