Their applications include time-series management of constantly changing topographical information, urban planning, comprehensive property tax surveys, and inspections for illegal activities on national and public land.
In particular, Gwangju City is providing citizens with comprehensive spatial information through the local geography web portal. This includes not only high-resolution aerial photographs but also cadastral maps, sewage treatment area maps, and various other types of spatial data, allowing users to easily check topographical information without visiting sites in person.
Through this service, users can conveniently access an overview of Gwangju City's geographical information simply by searching for a location.
A Gwangju City official stated, "We will continue to update high-resolution aerial photographs annually to respond quickly to rapidly changing topographical information. We are committed to meeting citizens' spatial information needs and delivering transparent and trustworthy administrative services."
