Ulleung County Governor Nam Hankwon Becomes First in Ulleungdo to Join Nonghyup's Special Deposit Product for Successful APEC Hosting

On August 11, Ulleung County in North Gyeongsang Province announced that Nam Han-kwon, Governor of Ulleung County, has joined in supporting the successful hosting of the APEC Summit to be held in Gyeongju, North Gyeongsang Province this fall by becoming the first subscriber in Ulleung County to the "APEC 2025 KOREA Successful Hosting Deposit" launched by NH Nonghyup Bank.

This product is designed so that NH Nonghyup Bank will donate 0.1% of the total deposit amount (up to 30 million KRW), along with an additional donation (up to 70 million KRW), for a total contribution of up to 100 million KRW, to the local community in Gyeongju, the host city of APEC.

The product is available to individuals, with a deposit range between 1 million KRW and 30 million KRW per person. Each person may open only one account. The term is one year (lump-sum payment at maturity), and subscriptions are open until October 31 at NH Nonghyup Bank branches nationwide and through non-face-to-face channels such as All One Bank.

Nam Han-kwon, Governor of Ulleung County, stated, "I am grateful to Nonghyup Bank for actively participating in and promoting the successful hosting of the Gyeongju APEC Summit, which will unite not only the people of Ulleung County but all of Korea. I sincerely hope that interest and support from the people of Ulleung County and citizens nationwide will spread, leading to a successful APEC Summit in Gyeongju in 2025."
