On August 11, ESTsoft announced that its consolidated revenue for the second quarter of this year reached 31.2 billion KRW, up 12.2% year-on-year, marking the highest quarterly revenue in the company's history. The company also reported an operating profit of 81 million KRW, returning to the black after eight quarters.

This improvement in performance was driven by the steady growth of its artificial intelligence software (AI SW) business, successful overseas publishing of its game business centered on Cabal Mobile, and a recovery in asset management performance.

In the AI SW business segment, growth was recorded in areas such as ▲increased monthly recurring revenue from PERSO.ai, ▲expansion of AI talent training and education business, and ▲increased advertising revenue from the utility program 'ALTools'.

ESTsoft expects the positive performance from the second quarter to continue into the second half of the year. This outlook is based on the continued increase in monthly recurring revenue and conversion rates for PERSO.ai, as well as the recognition of results from large-scale AI talent training and education projects in the second half.

Additionally, the company sees various opportunities in its participation in the 'independent AI foundation model' project as one of five elite teams in the LG AI Research Institute consortium. ESTsoft is responsible for roles such as advancing K-Exaone and building the artificial intelligence transformation (AX) ecosystem. On August 7, the company also integrated Exaone 4.0 into its proprietary agentic AI service, Allen.

An ESTsoft representative stated, "Once nationwide AI projects are fully underway, we expect the performance improvement effect to be even greater," adding, "By combining AI with our existing nationwide software, we will be able to further enhance and expand our services."
