KB Securities Launches 'Quick View' Feature for Overseas ETFs

On August 11, KB Securities announced that it has newly introduced the 'Quick View' feature to its flagship mobile trading system (MTS), 'KB M-able (M-able)', allowing users to easily access key information on overseas exchange-traded funds (ETFs) at a glance. To commemorate the launch, KB Securities will hold a survey-based event titled 'Faster Than Anyone! Quick View for Overseas ETF Investment' until September 12.

As investor interest in overseas ETFs has been rising recently, many investors have found it difficult to understand the nature of ETF products based solely on their names and have struggled with fragmented information, making investment decisions challenging. In response, KB Securities launched the Quick View screen last month to enhance investor convenience, offering an integrated service that allows users to intuitively access key information on overseas ETFs.

Through the Quick View service, investors can check dividend-related information such as company overview, market price, dividend yield, recent dividends, and the next ex-dividend date in the basic information section. In the performance section, investors can not only view returns by period but also conduct relative analysis by comparing performance with other ETFs. In addition, portfolio information such as the ETF's component stocks and allocation by country and asset type is visualized. The service also provides recommendations for related strategy and thematic ETFs, as well as information on alternative ETFs tracking the same benchmark.

To celebrate the launch of Quick View, an event is being held where users who experience the Quick View screen and participate in a simple five-question multiple-choice survey will be automatically entered into a drawing. A total of 5,000 winners will be selected to receive a 5,000 KRW overseas stock coupon. The Quick View service can be easily accessed via the overseas ETF price screen or by clicking the 'Explore Quick View' button on the event page.

KB Securities plans to actively collect customer feedback and real user experiences through this survey and reflect them in future service improvements. Currently, the Quick View service is available for US-listed ETFs, but it will gradually be expanded to include US stocks, domestic stocks, and domestic ETFs in the future.

Son Heejae, Head of the Digital Business Group at KB Securities, stated, "We expect that the Quick View service will provide overseas investors with faster and more accurate investment insights," adding, "We will continue to actively incorporate customer feedback to further enhance the convenience and accessibility of various investment services."
