Uljugun to Provide Up to 100,000 Won Monthly Housing Support for Youth... Additional Recruitment Announced

Uljugun in Ulsan is conducting an additional recruitment of participants for the "2025 Youth Housing Rental Support Program" to help reduce housing costs for young people and support their settlement in the region.

On August 11, Uljugun announced that it will provide up to 100,000 won per month in rental deposit loan interest or monthly rent support for up to two years to young people aged 18 to 39 who do not own a home.

Rental deposit loan interest support applies to jeonse or deposit-based monthly rental homes with a deposit of up to 200 million won, while monthly rent support applies to homes with a deposit of up to 100 million won and monthly rent of up to 800,000 won.

Applicants must have an income of 180% or less of the standard median income (for a single-person household, 4,306,000 won or less per month), and the residence must be a housing unit of 85 square meters or less of exclusive area within Uljugun. Applications can be submitted online at the Uljugun Youth Support Portal from August 19 to September 26, along with the application form and supporting documents.

Uljugun will select recipients after reviewing eligibility, documentation, and checking for overlap with similar programs. An official from the district stated, "We will continue to provide support so that young people struggling with housing costs can settle stably in Uljugun."
