According to the Songpa Police Station in Seoul, at around 1:45 p.m. on the 10th, Korea Sports Industry Development, which manages the KSPO Dome in Olympic Park, received a fax claiming that explosives had been planted in the concert hall and reported it to the police. The fax, written in both Korean and Japanese, stated, "Multiple high-powered bombs have been installed throughout the KSPO Dome. The detonation time is between 4:43 p.m. and 8:10 p.m." The sender identified themselves as a lawyer.
The police deployed a mobile patrol unit and a special task force to search the venue for about two hours, but no explosives or other hazardous materials were found. There were no casualties. After the search was completed, the police, fire authorities, and concert venue officials held a joint review committee and concluded that there were no issues with proceeding with the concert. As a result, audience entry began at 4:45 p.m., and the concert was rescheduled to start at 6:00 p.m.
On this day, The Boyz took the stage at the KSPO Dome for the final show of the Seoul leg of their fourth world tour, "THE BLAZE." The performance began with rock versions of "TRIGGER," "The Stealer," and "MAVERICK," followed by songs including "WATCH IT," "ROAR," and "Ain't Salty." During the unit stage, they performed "Honey," "Feel The Bass," and "bAd," among others.
In the latter part of the concert, they performed "Stylish," "Bite Back," "Breaking Dawn," "Tiger," "THRILL RIDE," "D.D.D," and "AURA" in succession. For the encore, they sang "Horizon," "All About You," "Love! Urin imi soneul neomeosseo," "Fantasize," "Timeless," and "Fire Eyes."
On stage, The Boyz said, "We were very worried during the preparation process, but thanks to the support of our fans, we were able to stay strong."
After completing their Seoul concert, The Boyz will continue their tour at the Yokohama Pia Arena in Japan on the 23rd.
Meanwhile, making threats to harm an unspecified number of people can result in up to five years in prison or a fine of up to 20 million won under the crime of public intimidation. The police plan to respond strongly to this incident.
