On August 9, a man's body was discovered at the search site for missing persons following heavy rain in Gapyeong-gun, Gyeonggi Province, and authorities are currently working to identify him.

According to the police and fire authorities, at around 1:30 p.m. that day, a search and rescue dog found the body of a man buried in soil along the Bukhangang River in Cheongpyeong-myeon, Gapyeong-gun.

The police and fire authorities have recovered the body and are working to confirm the man's exact identity.
