Worker in His 50s Unconscious After Fall at Uijeongbu Apartment Construction Site

At around 3:00 p.m. on August 8, an accident occurred at a new apartment construction site in Singok-dong, Uijeongbu, Gyeonggi Province, where a worker in his 50s, identified as Mr. A, fell from the sixth floor.

Mr. A was transported to the hospital while receiving CPR and is currently reported to be in critical condition.

It was determined that at the time of the accident, Mr. A was in the process of removing a safety net designed to prevent falls.

The police and fire authorities are investigating the cause of the accident.
