Hana Card announced on August 8 that it will host a nationwide women's amateur golf tournament.

This year marks the inaugural "Hana Card 3-Wood Tee Shot Women's Amateur Golf Tournament."

Regional qualifiers will begin on September 1. The qualifiers will be held at TPC Yangpyeong in Gyeonggi Province, Ipo Country Club in Yeoju, Gyeonggi Province, Flamingo Country Club in Dangjin, Chungnam, Songnisan Country Club in Boeun, Chungbuk, MS Club Uiseong Country Club in Gyeongbuk, Goseong Nobel Country Club in Gyeongnam, Gochang Country Club in Jeonbuk, and Green Field Country Club in Jeju.

The finals will take place on September 29, followed by the championship round on September 30.

Golfers who wish to participate can apply on the official website of the Hana Card 3-Wood Tee Shot Women's Amateur Golf Tournament by August 22. Updates and detailed schedules for the tournament can be found on the official website and social networking services (SNS).

A total prize pool of 300 million won (100 million won in prize money and 200 million won in gifts) is at stake in this tournament, which Hana Card has prepared together with Bang Golf. This is the largest scale among amateur tournaments.

A Hana Card representative stated, "Hana Card has been engaged in various activities to fulfill its role as a socially responsible company through sports, such as operating the Hana Pay professional billiards team. We will continue to support amateur athletes through a variety of initiatives."

Meanwhile, Hana Financial Group hosted the Hana Bank Invitational in June, which was co-organized by the Korea Professional Golfers' Association (KPGA) and the Japan Golf Tour Organization (JGTO).

Next month, the group will host the KLPGA Hana Financial Group Championship on the Korea Ladies Professional Golf Association (KLPGA) tour.
