'Ulsan Rising Port' is designed to allow visitors to vividly experience major attractions in Ulsan, such as the Taehwagang National Garden, Banggucheon Petroglyphs, and Daewangam Park, by riding a virtual urban air mobility (UAM) vehicle.

Since its official opening in May, the cumulative number of visitors reached approximately 5,000 as of August 3.

In particular, from July 29, when the summer vacation began, to August 3, the number of visitors more than doubled compared to previous periods, and afternoon sessions were sold out every day, demonstrating the high level of public interest.

Ulsan Museum cited the ability to enjoy a panoramic view of Ulsan's major attractions through a moving simulator linked to a large LED screen, which provides a realistic flight experience, as the key to this popularity.

'Ulsan Rising Port' received the Red Dot Design Award, one of the world's top three design awards, and the Winner in the Communication Design category in July, raising expectations for an increase in visitors from outside the region.

Accordingly, the museum plans to maintain the popularity of 'Ulsan Rising Port' by preparing new content and related events.

An official from Ulsan Museum stated, "'Ulsan Rising Port' is changing the perception of the museum from a place associated only with history to an enjoyable, future-oriented museum," and added, "We will do our best to establish ourselves as a cultural and tourism hub that embraces both the past and the future."
