AI Adopted in Auditing... Deloitte Anjin Enhances Audit Platform 'Omnia'

Active Adoption of Generative AI
Enhancing Audit Efficiency

Deloitte Anjin has decided to implement artificial intelligence (AI) in its proprietary audit platform. The company aims to enhance efficiency through AI-based document review and draft preparation.

On August 7, Deloitte Anjin announced that it has integrated generative AI and agentic AI capabilities into Deloitte's global cloud-based audit platform, 'Omnia.'

First, generative AI has been used to improve the efficiency of audit procedures. The generative AI reviews audit documents in their initial stages to assess their clarity and logical consistency, and suggests improvements. The company explained that users can explore details and verify consistency among materials by asking questions in a conversational manner.

Additionally, the generative AI can summarize and analyze information scattered across multiple documents and assist in drafting audit working papers and financial statement notes.

Deloitte is also developing technology that analyzes risk factors based on external data in real time and detects potential audit risks at an early stage.

The company is also strengthening its intelligent agent functions. Deloitte emphasized that AI agents act as 'digital experts,' performing specific tasks, retaining relevant information, and collaborating with other agents.

Jang Sujae, Head of Audit at Deloitte Anjin, stated, "AI is bringing innovation to audit practices worldwide, opening up opportunities for transformation and innovation on an entirely new level. Deloitte Anjin will continue to provide high-quality audit services through ongoing technological innovation and support, enabling audit professionals to fully demonstrate their capabilities."
