The special prosecutor team led by Min Jungki, which summoned Kim Gunhee as a suspect, announced, "We are investigating her under the title of 'suspect,' and she is making statements without exercising her right to remain silent." As the special prosecutor's team mentioned the "possibility that the investigation could take longer than expected," there are predictions that the questioning may continue late into the night.

However, he avoided giving a direct answer when asked about the expected end time of the investigation or the possibility of a second summons.
Upon arriving at the special prosecutor's office set up in KT Gwanghwamun Building West in Jongno-gu, Seoul at around 10:11 a.m., Kim Gunhee said, "I sincerely apologize to the people for causing concern as someone as insignificant as myself."
Kim Gunhee began being questioned at around 10:23 a.m., finished the morning session at about 11:59 a.m., and then had lunch with her packed meal. The questioning resumed at 1:00 p.m., and she reportedly took one break in the morning and two in the afternoon. As of 3:10 p.m., the investigation had resumed. Special Prosecutor Moon explained, "She took breaks as needed depending on her level of fatigue at the time."
Kim Gunhee's legal team stated in a press notice that afternoon, "Thankfully, the prosecutors from the special investigation team have been considerate in many ways, and the questioning is proceeding smoothly."
The special prosecutor's team is also leaving open the possibility of late-night questioning. In such a case, the consent of the person involved must be obtained. Special Prosecutor Moon said, "A little more than half of the investigation has been completed, and there is a possibility that it could take longer than expected," but added, "No decision has been made yet regarding late-night questioning." Previously, Kim Gunhee's side had stated, "We will decide on the possibility based on her physical condition at the time of questioning."
However, it was confirmed that Kim Gunhee did not express any particular opinion regarding her health on this day. Previously, her side had requested the special prosecutor's team to guarantee breaks during the investigation and to finish questioning before 6:00 p.m. for health reasons, but the special prosecutor's team did not accept these requests.
On this day, the special prosecutor's team is focusing on investigating the following allegations: the Deutsch Motors stock price manipulation, the Myung Taegyun nomination interference, and the Geonjinbeopsa improper solicitation. As there are as many as 16 related allegations, it is expected that the special prosecutor's team will summon Kim Gunhee again for further questioning.
