From Apartment Apps to Health Management: GS Construction Introduces Non-Face-to-Face Telemedicine Service

GS Construction announced on August 6 that it will introduce an industry-first non-face-to-face telemedicine service to its integrated service application, XiHome.

GS Construction has partnered with the telemedicine solution company Soldoc to expand XiHome’s features into the healthcare sector. XiHome is an integrated service app launched by GS Construction in 2024 that covers everything from pre-move-in visits to post-move-in lifestyle management for residents. This is the first time in the industry that a construction company has integrated a non-face-to-face telemedicine service into its proprietary app.

While the app previously focused on community reservations and facility information, the integration with Soldoc has expanded its functionality into a platform that manages not only residential convenience but also health management. Residents can receive AI-powered personalized health management reports after their medical consultations.

In addition, a ‘healthcare concierge service’ will be provided. This service, supported by dedicated counseling staff, is particularly useful for elderly users or those unfamiliar with digital environments. It will be offered free of charge for a certain period, which is expected to lower the initial barrier for new users.

The service integrating Soldoc into XiHome will first be applied this month at Sangmu Central Xi in the Sangmu district of Gwangju. Residents will be able to access information about affiliated medical institutions, medical schedules, and real-time reservation details through the XiHome app.

A GS Construction representative stated, “We will continue to pursue various empirical approaches to expand customer-centered residential experiences, even amid rapidly changing regulatory environments.”
